Gal's Guidance Teen Magazine is a project within our HerGuide Journal Initiative, created to give teen girls in Liberia a peer-led, judgment-free space to explore the topics they are curious about, the questions they ask themselves, and the everyday experiences they navigate but rarely have the opportunity to openly discuss or receive honest, reliable answers about.
The content isn't decided for girls; it's shaped by survey responses from over 50 Liberian teen girls. Most of our writers are teens themselves, making this a genuinely peer-led space where girls can learn, relate, and feel truly seen.
Printed copies ensure access for girls offline, beyond the reach of the internet where honest information is hardest to find.
