So we heard that you will soon be promoted to the 12th grade?
First of all let’s give a big hand clap for that! We know school is not for the weak, not along the highest grade in senior high.
Therefore, we got to work and asked 9 girls who are currently in 12th grade to share some advice for the incoming 12th grade ladies. Whether you are in 9th, 10th or 11th grade, this is for you. Whether you are worried about passing your WASSCE examination, graduation Preparation, or just surviving the chaos of senior year, Gal’s Guidance has got you covered with some pieces of advice from past seniors on how to make your senior year the best it can be. So buckle up, and get ready for some serious girl talk!
“Focus on your lesson” – Jamesetta Kollie, 21, Eco Technical Institute.
My advice to girls who will be going to the 12th Grade is to focus on their lesson and take learning seriously.
“Prepared yourself to avoid teachers taking money from you”- Fatu Kromah, 21, Great Commission Academy (G.C.A)
My advice to incoming seniors is that, when you are coming to 12th Grade, prepare yourself very well, because many teachers will want to take money from you all in the name of final year.
If you don’t give them money they will fail you and you will repeat. So study hard and do your best.
“Take Math & English seriously” – Daboilyn Akoi, 24, S.D.A High School.
My advice to girls is based on my personal experience. Girls should focus on reading and take Math and English very seriously.
“Study hard & forget too much Man business”- Amelia M Dahn, 22, J.S Pratt United Methodist School
My advice to upcoming seniors will focus on telling them to study hard and forget about too much business, because it won’t carry them anywhere.
“Neatness”- Monica S Nyema, 18, Our Lady of Fatima High School
I will always advise prospective seniors to always be neat on campus, because reckless dressing makes people look down on you, it even causes the other students to laugh at you when conducting devotion. So be neat and study hard.
“Preparation for WASSCE” Princess Jallah, 19, Free Pentecostal High School.
fully prepared before going to write the test. Go with every necessary material that is needed for writing the test. Study past WASSCE papers.
“Study hard, and avoid bad friends”- Korpo G Babu, 24, S.D.A High School.
For me I would like to encourage those girls coming in 12th Grade to take their lessons very seriously, focus on what they want to learn and don’t follow bad friends.
“12th Grade is difficult”- Lorentha Fallah, 20, Eco Technical Institute.
My advice to girls coming to 12th Grade will be, Grade 12th is a very difficult class, so focus on your lessons and prepare yourself for the examination.
“Prioritize Study”– Janet Brooks, 17, WELLS-HAIRSTON Institute
To incoming seniors, my little advice to them is they should prioritize studying their lesson in order to pass.
So, there you have it, girls! Now that you have gotten some advice from those who’ve been there, done that, and survived to tell the story, remember, high school is a rollercoaster, but you’re the one in the driver’s seat. Embrace the chaos, make memories, and know that whatever comes next, you’ve got this.
Congratulations as you made it to senior year and best of luck in all your future endeavors.
